For sale we have a custom Emisar D1 from Hank Wang with the legendary Nichia B35AM in 4500k.

This D1 has been fully potted in house at UK Flashlight Store, both sides of the driver, MCPCB, have all been potted. 

What is potting and why does it cost more than a normal flashlight? 

In electronics, potting is the process of filling a complete electronic assembly with a solid or gelatinous compound. 

This is done to:

• Exclude water moisture, or corrosive agents.
• To increase resistance to shocks and vibrations 

It features a RGB switch and requires a flat top 18650 cell included (button top will not work).

Due to the potting process there are two points to note:

• The flashing pads are NOT accessible the light cannot be updated.
• The tube is fixed at the head end please DO NOT try to remove the tube from the head you will damage the light and ruin the potting process.

Disclaimer:

While this light is designed to be considerably more robust and shock resistant than is shipped by the manufacturer and during our trials have performed phenomenally using this process. During our testing we dropped our test light out of a car at both 40 & 50 mph onto asphalt while still switched on and still worked without issue. It was thrown into a fresh water stream for 4+ hours on turbo with no issues we unfortunately cannot guarantee you have the same results and as such cannot offer any warranty on this product.

As always we will do our absolute best to work closely with our customers to repair or replace parts at the customers expense for time and labour when the fault is deemed to be due to accidental damage. Any fees costs etc will be discussed with the customer in detail before any repairs are commenced. Return shipping of flashlights under 1kg will be charged at a nominal fee of £3.99 for UK customers however this price may change once a quote has been obtained from our courier.
